Who We Are

'Children of Christ' is the Vision of Leticia VerHage, a Real Estate Agent in Lafayette, La. While working with families to help them get their first homes, she realized that one of the obstacles was excessive Medical Debt. She was moved to do something about it. The purpose of Children of Christ is to help our communities families deal the financial burden associated with taking care of a sick child. 


Along with her husband David VerHage, a local businessman and philanthropist Kevin Davis, and others, her vision is becoming reality.
