Success Stories
Anali G. - Lafayette Anali is a beautiful teenage girl who (while visiting Grand Parents in Mexico) was severely injured during a horse riding accident. She had suffered major head trauma requiring immediate head surgery to relieve the pressure from her swelling brain. She was admitted to a private hospital and the surgery was performed. The family was able to cover the costs with their own money, but it took all they had. This is where we come in. Anali had been recovering well, but it was now time to replace the piece of skull that had been removed in the first operation. The family tried raising the money but was falling woefully short. A local Pastor who knew of her need and our work contacted the Mother (who in turn contacted Leticia). Leticia (working directly with the hospital) was able to get the charges reduced, and we were able to cover the entire cost of the operation. Everything was done by God's Will!!! We are very happy to report that Anali is recovering excellently from the second surgery and will hopefully be coming home to Lafayette very soon. Our Jesus Christ was with us in full in this transaction!!! Anali's Parents with Leticia

Berenice Vazquez Alvarado - Lake CharlesBerenice is a really nice girl that was referred to us by somebody that new about our Charity Foundation Children of Christ and I went to see her in Lake Charles. I spoke with her mom and she told me that she was blind since she was born. That they told her that she was born with Retinopathy and was not able to help her in Honduras where they were living as she didn't have the means to do so and then later in time she decided to come to USA and was sheltered here in Lake Charles by a friend that she new in USA. I told her that we were going to help her paying for the consultation with the eye doctor. The eye doctor was really nice and he did a great job trying to see if he could help her to see, but unfortunately as the Rhinopathy was in stage 5th he was not going to be able to help her to see but with the report that he gave us, her mom was able to put her in Brailey School Class so she could be able to read and learn more. We were happy to help her in that aspect as well as my Jesus the Captain of this Boat!!! |
King Woods - Lafayette, La.King was called home to the Lord at the tender age of 2, following an unspecified illness. In their time of sorrow, his family faced the additional burden of being unable to cover the funeral and burial expenses. Mozaet Hernandez - Lafayette, La.This is Mozart, a bright and charismatic 5-year-old boy who was suffering from epilepsy. Leticia met his mother at St. Jules Church, where she was singing in the choir. His mother approached her and said, "Miss Leticia, I know you have a foundation, and I need your help. My son, Mozart, has epilepsy, and I can't afford to pay for an MRI. It's too expensive, and we don't have insurance. Can you help us?"
When Leticia saw the boy, the Lord filled her heart with compassion, and she smiled at his mother, saying, "Yes, we will help Mozart get the MRI." Together, they went to the Women and Children’s Hospital, where Leticia spoke to the staff, assuring them that the Children of Christ Charity Foundation would cover the cost of the MRI for Mozart. Thanks to the foundation's support, Mozart was able to receive the MRI, and he is now doing well. We are so thankful to have been able to help this family in need. God's grace is always with us, and He makes sure that everything falls into place when the Children of Christ Charity Foundation is involved. Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ! Second picture Mozart is going tinto the MRI room. |

Diego A. Moya Frometa - Santiago de CubaBeautiful child of God that was born with Sintomatic Perinatal Sindrom of Wats. His mother told Leticia that when he was going to come to this world his umbilical cord was around his neck and oxygen was not able to go to his brain so he was born with Cerebral Polsi. Because of the CP the Wats sindrome was there too having epilepsis that have to be managed all the time by the medicine that the doctor prescribed him. This is how Diego came to us. Leticia has a Cuban friend that she gave her her home in 2013 and since then they have bee very good friends and she hier her to come and clean our house every week. One day while she was at our house working she show to Leticia the picture that is to the left and told her that the mother of this child had been asking to the Cuban Government to send her a wheelchair for years and no answer, that the child had been always in his bed for 9 years as the mother was not able to take him out as the child was living with her in a 7th floor appartment and it was dificult for her to carry him in her arms to other places. So she asked Leticia if the Charity Foundation that we have could help this little child with a wheel chair and she said -" Of course Andrea, that is why God asked me to open this charity Foundation so we can help children in need"- So we started looking for wheelchairs and we found the correct one and then we found the way to send it to her mother in Santiago de Cuba also and 2 months later the wheelchair arrived and the mother was so happy to finally see her dream come true and was able to allocate her son on the chair and take him to the park that has never been there and other places. We were happy too that we were able to help this child and her mother accomplished their decier dream to see the child on the wheelchair . Unfortunately the next year the mother was not able to get the medicine that the child was taking to stop the epilepsis that he had as the medicine was not anymore in Cuba so the child past away and now he is with the Lord. The mother was griffing and one day she texted Leticia saying -" Miss Leticia can we pass this beautiful wheelchair that your Foundation sent to us to another child that is in need of it? "- and I responded back -"Deffinitely yes, pass it to another child that needs it "- So she did and she sent me the picture of another child smaller than Dieguito that was born also with CP and I was very glad that the wheelchair that God and Jesus our Lord and Savior gave to Diego was also use to another one of their childs!!! God is good and awsome and always steps in to amase us!!! |
